GSHP systems use this difference in temperature to transfer heat between your home and the earth.
The heat pump and circulating fluid continuously transfer heat. In summer, the GSHP system draws heat from the air in your home and transfers it to the ground. During winter, it draws heat from the ground and transfers it to your home.

While the most well know market is Maryland which has it’s own requirements, CSG also aggregates for systems in the PJM region which includes all or parts of the following 13 states: Delaware, Maryland*, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and parts of Illinois (northern), Indiana (western), Kentucky (northeastern), Michigan (southern), North Carolina (eastern), Tennessee (northern).

Through our proprietary platform we have expanded our product offering from solar, and are now able to efficiently aggregate GSHP units. We use energy savings tools to calculate the amount of kWh a GSHP system saves which can be converted to RECs.

Yes, we offer industry leading installer referral payments.

Eligibility requirements depend on the RPS program the system may qualify for. CSG accepts system installed after January 1, 2018 that are located within the PJM region. For more information on system eligibility please reach out to directly at GREC@carbonsolutionsgroup.com.
